...about our trip
It all started on a sailing boat in the Whitsundays........what an adventure it has been since then!!! You never know who you are going to meet when your travelling, that's half the fun!!!
Michael and i started talking on the boat about where we are off to next, as it turned out we both heading in the same direction (opposite to most), i had a van and he needed a lift. Since then we have seen some amazing places, bought our first surfboard, shared some great music and had many laughs along the way. It's also been a very entertaining trip, Especially the time when the Swiss Borat was born!!! I'm sure you have all seen the photos, if not ask Michael about them. Surfing down the coast was definately a highlight. There has been times when surf has been ordinary and it's hard to get a wave, you end up paddling instead of surfing, but catching that last wave together today mate,made it all worth while.
It's been an abosoulute pleasure travelling with Michael, i could'nt haved asked for a more down to earth person. Good onya mate!!! I look forward to throwing a few shrimps on the barbie tonight and washing it down with a few cold tinnies!!
The Van won't be the same without you, Saskia will miss you!!
